(Basseterre, St. Kitts)—The Criminal Investigation Department of the police has received a new piece of equipment from the TDC Group of Companies that will assist them in carrying out their work in fighting crime.

Inspector Franklyn Belgrove and Sergeant Leonard Browne of the CID received a Canon MP 530 multi-function printer from Mr. Percival Hanley, General Manager of TDC Business Equipment Center, located on Central Street, Basseterre, on September 5.

According to Mr. Hanley, the printer values in the range of $1,000 and has the capacity to print, copy, fax and scan.

In accepting the gift, Sergeant Belgrove said that in the technological era it is almost impossible to operate an office without the tools of modern technology.

Sergeant Belgrove expressed his gratitude to the directors, management and staff of TDC while Mr. Hanley said that he hopes that the equipment will be put to good use.
