HOPE CELEBRATES TWO YEARS OF SERVICE

Dear Editor,

HOPE Nevis Incorporated (formerly HOPE Nevis) is a group of young people from diverse backgrounds with diverse ideas, with one passion, to do all in our power to Help Our People Excel.

HOPE Nevis Incorporated was started on August 2nd 2006 by our founder and visionary Mr. Rohan Isles with a small membership of eight persons, three females and five males.

Since its inception HOPE Nevis Incorporated has evolved to become the catalyst for positive social change, impacting the lives of many throughout the communities of the island. To this end, HOPE Nevis Incorporated has been successful in initiating several projects which include its Young Professionals Seminar (YPS), the HOPE Deserving Child Award Fund (HDCAF), the School Adoption Program (SAP), and a weekly radio talk show on CHOICEFM dubbed HOPE Dialogue.

As a part of the anniversary celebrations, members of HOPE Nevis Incorporated participated in a roadside clean up, along the island’s main road form T.D.C. Pinneys to the entrance to the beach by Sunshine and Chevy’s on last Saturday morning.

On Thursday, they also hosted a special anniversary edition of HOPE Dialogue which highlighted some of the achievements of the organisation over the last two (2) years and thanked its many supporters and sponsors.

On Sunday September 7th, the members of HOPE Nevis Incorporated took part in a worship service at the Bath New Testament Church of God.

The celebrations will continue this year with the hosting of an awards ceremony where outstanding members of HOPE and our much appreciated sponsors will be recognised.

The Directors and members of HOPE Nevis Incorporated are proud to have served our communities for the last two years and we pledge our continued support to continue to Help Our People Excel.
