Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and for daughters or sons looking to entertain their moms in just the right way, Reign of Elegance and the St. Kitts National Youth Parliament Association have the answer for you.

Come and witness our Mother’s Day Hat Parade and Fashion Show entitled Roses for Mothers. The event will be held at Manhattan Gardens at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 10. Attendees can expect to be dazzled by the variety of segments, the creative hat wear and the stylish costumes.

Event coordinator Telca Wallace explained the idea behind the ‘rosy’ theme: “We chose Roses for Mothers because, in our opinion, mothers are like roses. They give richness and beauty and endurance to the lives of their children. And most importantly, roses are beautiful, just like our mothers. The hat parade and show is our way of honouring mothers for all they’ve done for their families and society on a whole.”

The coordinator also revealed that the show’s segments would include a special ‘Rosebuds’ section for children and a segment celebrating our milestone Silver Jubilee Independence Anniversary.

“This is a chance for persons to take their mothers out so they can spend a lovely, relaxing afternoon with their peers. Treat your mother and take her to the show. The organisers have been working hard to ensure this is the best hat parade yet. You won’t be disappointed,” she promised.

Admission is a mere EC$50, and tickets are available at Singer, Island Hopper and Body Haven.
