in concentration as he pedals his way to second

The 3rd race of the 2010
cycling season took place on Saturday. This was an individual
time trial over 16km with the cyclists racing against
the clock, leaving at one minute intervals. The course
began on Cattle Long Path and headed up to St James
Primary School for the turnaround before the bikers
raced back to cross the finish line as fast as they
could.
The only female present
was Laura Talaga visiting from St Kitts, newcomer
rider Tim Hoffman was welcomed into the fray for his
first ever bike race event. It was always going to
be about who could get closest to National TT champion
Reggie Douglas, who completed the course in 24:52,
as James had just left for England it was rising talent
Assim Chapman who
made the best attempt, taking second place in 26:35,
with a tie for third between Winston Crooke and Greg
Phillip.Laura had a fine race, and Tim made a great
effort, finishing in a time of 31:04, welcome to the
war Tim!!
The next event on
the calendar will be on Saturday 30th with the first
of the Triathlon mini series leading up to the Nevis
