Dagah Officially Launches New Video — Rep my City

"Rep my City"

Dagah's new music video "Rep my City" was officially launched on Wednesday 5th May 2010, on PeP TV Channel 24 at 8:00p.m. The video "Rep my city" was shot by Nigel (TruCapo) Lewis of TruCapo Productions.

Several of St. Kitts top entertainers made cameo appearances in the video. It is his second video. The first was ''I'll Never Give Up'', which generated a lot of buzz. "Rep my City" is about representing St. Kitts and Nevis no matter where you are in the world. It shows people that you are proud of where you are from. In the lyrics he mentions some of the people that have been representing St. Kitts against all odds. It's one of those songs that can really get the club swinging.

Dagah wrote this song when he was in New York and felt like it was necessary for him to represent the country of his birth. The beat is done by Marcus Nero (nerobeats) aka Justin Wayne. Dagah and Marcus have been collaborating for years in creating a style for him. He does not see himself as a just a rapper but as an artist.

Dagah said that when producing music, he goes into a different state of mind. When he is composing a song, he does not think about the type of song, but just let's his creativity flow whether it be Hip-hop or Rap. It is what it is. He thinks that a lot of people are really going to like this song because he feels as long as you're from St. Kitts and Nevis; you're going to feel this one.

Dagah's next single is "Vybe with you". This is a song for the ladies.

His first couples of tunes were more of an introduction to Dagah. Now that people are getting know him musically, he wants to give them a taste of his repertoire as he has got a lot to share.
