June 10 -- Lorine Woods of Potpourri Designs Limited and Jimmy Husbands, two of the Federation’s top Painting Professionals recently shared their years of expertise with the patrons of the TDC Home and Building Depot on Saturday 5th June 2010, on the Frigate Bay Road in St. Kitts.

The one hour Do It Yourself (DIY) Painting Session organized by the TDC Client Relations and Marketing Department provided useful guidelines on how to complete any painting project under the following topics:

· Evaluating Paint Surfaces
· Painting Spot Patches
· Preparing Walls for Painting
· Painting Walls
· Maintenance and Clean Up

Several tools and techniques also formed part of the joint presentation, which gave shoppers a better understanding of the different kinds of applicators, selecting quality paint, as well as, preventing common problems.

The event was most welcomed, as persons flocked to the Paints and Oils Counter to listen, observe and even try their hand at painting.

This in-house event is part of series basic Home Improvement Demonstrations that will be undertaken in the coming months to further educate customers and clients about simple house renovation.
