St. Kitts Volleyball Team Congratulated by PAM Leader

 

St.Kitts-Nevis female Volleyball team . ECVA Champions 2010
 
June 29 -- The Leader of St.Kitts-Nevis main Opposition Party the People’s Action Movement Lindsay Grant applauded the recent success of the St. Kitts National Female Volleyball team, after they won the ECVA Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association female championships held in St. Lucia.

Grant met with the team after their impressive victory and offered congratulatory wishes to the new champions on behalf of the Party, and himself. He also personally congratulated tournament MVP Brenda Allen-Edinborough, and St.Kitts Amateur Volleyball Association President Glen Quinlan.

In the grand finale in an epic battle St. Kitts prevailed against a valiant Dominica in five sets (25-13, 27-29, 25-19, 19-25, 18-16) to win the regional title. Veteran players Brenda Allen and Antoinette Henry kept St.Kitts in the match with 19 and 18 points respectively while their middle blocker Shanice Dyer kept the Dominica middle attack at bay with five blocks among her 13 points.

4. Antigua
5. Anguilla
6. French St. Martin
7. Grenada
8. St. Vincent and Grenadines
