Saddlers Resident Earns Master’s Degree in Nursing

Nurse Miranda Langley

July 12 – Despite many obstacles, a Saddlers resident has obtained a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing Administration in New York.

Miranda Langley, who is affectionately called “Randa,” completed her secondary education at the Cayon High School and began her professional journey in nursing at the Joseph N. France General Hospital.

Ms. Langley, who gained a Bachelor of Nursing degree in December 2006, is celebrating her latest achievement a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing Administration from the Herbert Lehman College; City University of New York.

“I must show gratitude and praise to God Almighty for his sustaining grace and mercy also, to my family, friends and siblings who have been very supportive to me in many different ways. Thanks to all for their continued support and encouragement,” said Langley, adding:

“Despite my sojourn there’s been many obstacles, but the success stories have outnumbered them all; for me her personally, and the hundreds of patients at home and abroad that I served humbly. I encourage my fellow Kittitians with this quote from Napoleon Hill; ‘Cherish your visions and your dreams, as they are the children of your soul; the blue prints of your ultimate achievements.’
