| July 20 - Heavy rains and lightning strikes were among the factors that caused an island-wide electricity blackout in St. Kitts, beginning Monday night and lasting until Tuesday evening for some areas, such as Bladen.
According to published reports the weather caused problems in the field, and affected the Needsmust Power Station. |
