Nevis-born Dr. Winston Isles has been appointed to the Jamaica Anti-doping Commission. The group tests athletes, including Olympians, to ensure they remain drug free as they train. According to his Facebook page, Dr. Isles attended Charlestown Secondary School in Nevis and the University of Exeter. He now practices medicine in Kingston, Jamaica. In November, the Jamaica Anti-doping Commission attracted international media attention when all of its members resigned to eliminate the possibility of conflicts of interest within the group, according to news sources.
