The Federation of St. Kitts-Nevis has already recorded its 5 th murder just over one month into the new year. Just before 8 last night (Feb 3), Kevin “Judgment” Francis, 26, originally of Parsons Village but residing at Sandy Point, and Brian Wilkinson, 21, of Cleverly Hill were attacked by armed masked assailants while walking along an alley east of the Wesleyan Holiness Church, Crab Hill. Francis succumbed to his injuries at the scene while Wilkinson was injured and hospitalized for treatment. The severity of his injuries is not known at this time. Police informed that ” Four persons are in custody assisting with the investigation.” The Observer understands the men were apprehended in a vehicle in Saddlers shortly after the crime. This murder comes five days after a young man was gunned down in Nevis. That was the island’s second such homicide for January. In St. Kitts, the bodies of two men who were reported missing in separate villages were found days later with chop wounds to their heads and upper body.
