May 30 — Police have responded to two shooting incidents and one wounding incident, all of which occurred over the weekend. On Saturday, May 29, police received a report of a shooting made By an anonymous caller, which occurred at the Ferry Terminal in the vicinity of C & C Supermarket at approximately 5:00 a.m. Investigations revealed that Erastus “Ras T” Peets, 24, of John England Village was shot in right foot and lower side of his back. He was transported By private vehicle to the JNF Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery and is presently warded in stable condition. There are no suspects in custody, however investigations are ongoing. Also on Saturday, at approximately 11:40 p.m. police responded to a report of shooting that occurred at Millionaire Street. Investigations revealed that Joel Phillip, 16, of Laguite Village and Theon Audain, 19, of Haynes Smith Village were shot and injured. Phillip was shot in the right lower instep and sustained minor injuries. Audain was shot in the back of his head, ear and left shoulder. Audain was transported to the JNF Hospital in police vehicle where he underwent emergency surgery and was warded in stable condition. Phillip was also treated at the JNF Hospital and discharged. There are no suspects in custody, however investigations are ongoing. On Friday, May 28, Jason Henderson, 20, of Keys Village walked into the Basseterre Police Station at approximately 4:30 p.m. bleeding profusely and reported that while he was at Upper College Street Ghaut, he was attacked By a male and stabbed with a knife. Police responded to the report and investigations revealed that Henderson was stabbed in his head with a knife used By his attacker. Henderson was transported to the JNF Hospital in a private vehicle where he was treated and warded in stable condition. He was subsequently discharged. Police have one suspect in custody.
