June 17 – Last Thursday, it was a proud moment in the life of former Washington Archibald High School student, Trista Williams. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate Degree in General Business Administration from the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. The 18-year-old maintained a GPA of 3.75 during her two year stint at the college. She was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honour Society in May 2010 and was on the Dean’s List in the Spring 2010 Semester, Fall 2009 Semester and Spring 2009 Semester and to the President’s List in the Fall 2008 Semester. Trista, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erasmus Williams would like to thank first Almighty God, her parents, her brothers and sisters and uncles and aunts as well as former teachers at Slacks Pres-School, the Maurice Hellier Memorial Primary School, the Washington Archibald High School and the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. This year, there were 154 graduands from HLSCC and 54 from the United Kingdom´s Chartered Management Institute programme which is being delivered at the college.
