Zamba “Zambi” Heath, son of the infamous Noel “Zambo”Heath, has been fined $75,000 for a number of drug charges stemming from a raid of his home in June 2013. More than a year ago police discovered a quantity of cocaine in the house where two of Heath’s sons live with their mother and sister. While police arrested all four occupants of the Cardin Avenue house at the time (June 7), only Zamba and Marlon Heath were charged for the drug find. Zamba was convicted on four counts of drug possession- Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply, Possession of Crack Cocaine, and Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Supply. He was fined as follows: $10,000 for Possession of Cocaine which is to be paid in one (1) month or in default will serve six (6) months in prison; $20,000 for the offence of Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply which is to be paid in two (2) months or in default will serve one (1) year in prison; $15,000 for Possession of Crack Cocaine which is to be paid in one (1) month or in default serve six (6) months in prison; $30,000 for the possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply which is to be paid in two (2) months or in default will serve one (1) year in prison. Meanwhile, his brother Marlon was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, and fined $500, to be paid in seven (7) days or in default will serve one (1) month in prison.
