Carnival prize-giving set for April 20

The official date for the St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival prize giving ceremony is April 20.

National Carnival officially ended in January and this has been one on the longest waits for prize-giving to be held. Last year, the prize-giving was held in January; in 2016, it was held in February.

The Observer confirmed the date with both the National Carnival committee in St. Kitts and Chairman of Carnival Noah Mills.

The Observer was informed that the event will be held at the Royal St. Kitts Hotel, once the Jack Tar Hotel, in Frigate Bay.

The time for the event as not been disclosed as yet.
