Man shot March 17 in Sandy Point dies

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Police report they are now investigating a homicide after a Sandy Point resident died from the injuries he suffered March 17.

Police received a report at 9:10 p.m. Saturday that a shooting had occurred at Crab Hill. Investigations so far revealed that 30-year-old Calvin Archibald, originally from Cayon and residing in Sandy Point, had been sitting in a shop when an unknown assailant shot him multiple times.

The scene was visited by the Crime Scene Unit and items of evidential value were taken into police custody.
