CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – Traffic diversions will take place Dec. 4 and 5 on Nevis to accommodate the annual Christmas tree lighting. The Police indicate traffic divisions will take place on the Island Main Road at Memorial Square, Lower and Upper Prince William Street, Government Road, Jews Street, and the Gingerland Bus Station.

Traffic Diversion
Tonight, (Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m., the left side of Lower Prince Williams Street will be used as the Bus Station for the Gingerland motor omnibuses;
Bank Street will be closed to vehicular traffic to accommodate the erection of the stage;
Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., only motor omnibuses will be permitted to travel along Bank Street to drop off and pick up passengers;
On Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 5 p.m., the section of the Island Main road at the Memorial Square will be closed to vehicular traffic. Gingerland motor omnibuses will use the following route:
Government Road
Jews Street
Upper Prince Williams Street
Island Main Road and station in front of FedEx to drop off and pick up passengers
