Two sisters, one who recently gave birth to baby, have become victims of a brutal homicide in Keys village on Thursday afternoon. On suspect is in custody.

According to reports reaching this public the two sisters named Sunshine and Hopie finch in their early 20s lost their life following a domestic altercation.

This publication understands that Hopie and her male partner had an altercation which resulted in her receiving wounds from a sharp weapon.

He then proceeded to attack Sunshine who received a blow to the back of her head from the weapon.

The bodies were reportedly thrown into the ghaut in Keys village.

One of the sisters died at the scene of the crime while the other was rushed to the JNF hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Officers from the Crime Scene Unit processed the scene for evidence and indicated that investigations are underway. The Observer also understand that one person is in Police custody assisting with the investigation.

The Observer understand that Sunshine was a member of the Defence Force and recently had a baby.
