Dear Editor:

I would like to make an additional comment to Mr. Clinton Swanston’s “Commentary” article in your November 2, 2007 edition.

Toward the end of this article he questions the use of a public parking lot for storage of rental cars. In addition to this, one might wonder how many parking spaces are consumed by owners, managers and/or employees of downtown Charlestown businesses.

Every parking space they use is one space that is not available for potential customers who come to town to spend money.

I also would like to see this problem addressed internally.
