Caribbean Public Health Agency stars in Wednesday’s ‘Working for You’
Basseterre, St. Kitts —The history, priorities, benefits, vision, mission and upcoming health research conference of the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) will be discussed on the weekly radio and television programme “Working for You” on Wednesday, April 18.
Tune in to hear Dr. James Hospedales, executive director of CARPHA, and Chereca Weaver, marketing consultant for the upcoming CARPHA Health Research Conference June 14-16 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and Royal Beach Casino.
The duo will speak on a wide range of health-related matters, including the challenges faced by the health system in the Caribbean, the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle, tourism and health, and the upcoming conference, among other issues.
CARPHA is the Caribbean region’s collective response to strengthening and reorienting its health system approach so that it is equipped to address the changing nature of public health challenges.
Hosted by Lesroy Williams, “Working for You” offers news, views, reviews, interviews and all the happenings of the Team Unity administration, which has pledged “transparency, accountability, good governance and a fair share for all citizens of the federation.”
The programme features government officials, heads of government departments, permanent secretaries and other government officials who will provide timely, relevant and accurate information as it relates to the social, economic, human, political and sustainable development of St. Kitts and Nevis.
“Working for You” is carried live every Wednesday on ZIZ, WinnFM and Sugar City Rock from 1:30-3 p.m. and rebroadcast on Freedom FM and Von Radio on Thursdays from 7:30-9 a.m. and 10:30-noon, respectively.
