(Basseterre, St. Kitts) – Weekend operations bagged over 100 marijuana plants on vacant fields, but no one has been charged and investigations are continuing.

On Saturday, Feb. 9, police conducted operations in the Shadwell Housing area and discovered a total of 99 marijuana plants growing on a vacant plot of land. The plants, which ranged in height from seedlings to three feet, were uprooted and taken into police custody. No one was made accountable for the find.

Police also conducted operations in the Tabernacle area on Saturday, Feb. 9, and discovered a total of 11 marijuana plants growing on a plot of land at Carty’s Pasture. The plants, which ranged in height from seedlings to one foot, were uprooted and taken into police custody. No one was made answerable for the find.
