BASSETERRE. St. Kitts –- The Ministry of Health just announced it began chemical fogging for mosquitoes today.
The ministry advises residents to keep their windows and doors open to allow the fog to pass through your homes. This procedure permits the chemical to knock down any adult mosquitoes which may be present.
People with sinus or asthma conditions are advised not to stay in their homes or in close proximity to the fog. The Ministry of Health advises people with these conditions to leave their homes and not return until an hour after the fogging.
Householders are asked to use or dispose of stored water or to keep water containers tightly closed to prevent mosquito breeding.
The fogging exercises start at 5:30 p.m. each date.

Tuesday, Nov. 27: Ottley’s, Lodge Project, Lodge and Bourryeaux;
Wednesday, Nov. 28, Molyneaux, Phillips’ and Christ Church;
Thursday, Nov. 29, Mansion and Tabernacle; and
Friday, Nov. 30, Belle Vue, Harris and Saddlers.
