BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -– The Photo Competition is one of the most anticipated events during Tourism Awareness Month. Every citizen and resident is invited to share their unique perspective, through photographs, on this year’s theme “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Let’s Work Together for a Greener Future.”
Saju Ng’alla, Public Relations Officer, at the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, explained that this annual competition gives persons the opportunity to capture the true essence of the tourism product in St. Kitts. This year is no different.
According to Ng’alla, this photo competition enables people to explore what it takes to keep the island clean and pristine.
Ng’alla said that participants can share photos on Facebook with the hashtag, #StKittsClean. The captions must include the name of the photographer.
Prizes to be won include tablets, cameras, Smartphones and laptops. All submissions will be posted on the “Faces of Tourism” Facebook page.
The competition is being held from Nov. 1 to 23. The winner will be announced the first week of December.
