Members will enjoy many new benefits such as Express customer service where all a customer has to do is show their membership card and they won’t have to wait in long lines. Interest payments will be made monthly on savings and fixed deposit accounts. Service charges will be waived on drafts, manager’s checks, standing orders, travelers checks and checking accounts. Commissions will be reduced on select products and services such as check books, wire transfers, brokerage services and certain debit card transactions. Members will also enjoy higher interest rates on savings and fixed deposit accounts. Four percent will be paid on a minimum balance of $10,000 and five percent will be paid on balances of $50,000 or more. Fixed deposit accounts will receive a one-quarter percent higher rate than the normal rate. Another benefit is lower interest rates on loans.
