Letter To The Editor

Yes, we live in the Last Days. But that does not mean we have to fulfill the negative features of it. How much better it is to make yourself a force for good in society and avoid the Devil’s influence! According to Luke 4:1 Jesus was full of holy spirit and therefore, was certainly equipped to resist the Devil’s temptations, which he certainly did. Luke 4:4, 8, 12, 13. The apostles were strengthened by God’s powerful holy spirit and spoke God’s Word boldly. Acts 4:31. Hence, both Jesus and his apostles were forces for good in society. God’s Word, the Bible, was produced under the influence of God’s holy spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21. Therefore, if we read the Bible, think seriously on, and do what it says, we can be forces for good too. If there is an argument involving us or others, can we encourage a peaceful settlement? Romans14:19. It makes NO sense whatsoever to quarrel, fight, or kill someone for anything. We cannot take anything with us when we die! Psalm 49:16, 17 & 1 Timothy 6:7, 8. Encourage one another to sit down and settle matters peacefully. Matthew 5:23, 24 & Ephesians 4:26, 27, 31. NEVER give wicked advice to support fighting or killing. Proverbs 12:6.  Let God’s Word, a splendid product of holy spirit, help us to be a force for good in society.
