“I made a commitment to be apart of the Debating Society for the next three years, this is now my second year,” Mr. Brantley said at the Feb. 26 presentation.

“Debate can take you a long way. It did wonders for me,” Mr. Brantley said. “As a lawyer, I debate every day. That’s a big part of my life. One should master the art of debating, it takes critical skills. These skills can also assist you when you get older and also in everyday life.”

“I will like to wish the debaters well, I want them to strive for the best. You are all winners whether you win or lose,” Mr. Brantley said.

Ms. Sandra Hector, President of the Debating Society expressed gratitude to Mr. Brantley for his donation.

“On behalf of the members of the Debating Society I would like to thank you in sponsoring our trip this year,” Ms. Hector said. “We are truly going to try our best and bring back the title to Nevis.”

Ms. Hector also appealed to the general public to go on over to St. Kitts and show some support for the team.
