Bridge Collapse Report Ready

(Basseterre, St. Kitts) ” A report on the cause of a fatal bridge collapse in May will be released next week. Minister of Public Works, Utilities, Transport and Postal Services, the Hon. Dr. Earl Assim Martin, said that the investigation into the bridge that collapsed under construction near the Sir Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw airport is complete and that a report was submitted, which will be shared at a press conference to be held next week. Mr. Martin’s comments came at a press conference held at the Needsmust Power Station on November 13 to officially inform the country that the weeks of load shedding since the October 2 fire at the plant was over. Mr. Singh is expected to be here shortly and we expect that by next week we will have another press conference specifically with the issues pertaining to not only the bridge but the whole By pass road,” Mr. Martin said.
