Brothers slapped with more than 20 charges

Tivonne and Travonne Bryant have been charged with a combined 22 charges from both customs and police as relates to the drug, gun and ammunition find at the Vance Amory Airport Thursday.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise confiscated one .357-caliber revolver with ammunition inside a DVD player, while several packages of a substance suspected to be cocaine were concealed in what appeared to be a colouring set.
The brothers appeared before Magistrate Yasmine Clarke Tuesday with their attorney, Patrice Nisbett, seeking bail. Nisbett told the court that Travonne was charged with 17 charges from both customs and police, while Tivonne received five charges. Magistrate Clarke was unable to hear the bail application as she had not received a list of the charges at that time.
The brothers’ bail application is set to be heard Thursday.
