(Charlestown, Nevis) – Mr. Juan Nisbett came to the Observer to discuss a problem.
A person with a similar name had been recently arrested for a crime and rumors were circulating that Mr. Nisbett was, in fact, the person accused.
Mr. Nisbett asked the Observer to assure his friends, neighbors, colleagues and fellow Nevisians that he was not arrested and has committed no crime.
An affidavit from the Charlestown headquarters of the Royal St. Kitts-Nevis Police, which was given to the Observer, confirms Mr. Nesbitt’s assertion.
