(Basseterre , St. Kitts) Two of the four finalists of the Digicel Mothers’ Day promotion won diamonds and pearls and the other two won Digicel beach chairs. The promotion began on May 1, and persons who purchased specially priced handsets or topped up $15 or more were eligible for the promotion.
The promotion was aptly called diamonds and pearls due to the fact that the two major winners parted with a diamond tennis bracelet and a pink Blackberry Pearl and a diamond jewellery set and a pink Blackberry Pearl.
Mr. Charles Pemberton won the diamond jewellery set and Blackberry Pearl while Ms. Eslyn Bryant won the diamond tennis bracelet and Blackberry Pearl. Ms Bryant, who was unable to attend, was represented by her sister, Ms. Cheryl Warner.
The beach chair prizes were given to Mr. Herbert Wilson and Ms. Julene Dias who was represented by her sister.
The finalists, in alphabetical order, pulled a number which matched a number on a chair. They opened the envelopes taped under the seat of their chairs to reveal Ms. Warner said she felt good to have won although the prize was not hers. Mr. Pemberton was delighted with his win and praised Digicel’s service.
“I have three Digicel phones and I’m quite pleased with the service especially when I travel I get good service I expect with Digicel even as far as in Mexico so I’m really pleased with the service Digicel offers,” said Pemberton.
