(Basseterre, St. Kitts) – Digicel wireless telephone company is warning customers that they may be misled by a survey now being conducted and is urging those receiving the calls to not give out any information.

In a press release, A. Sharez Laws, Digicel’s marketing manager for St. Kitts and Nevis, writes: “Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis has received numerous complaints from our valued customers regarding a telephone survey which is currently being conducted to mobile subscribers. The methodology of the survey is for a customer to receive an unsolicited call on their mobile from a company which identifies itself as “IPSOS” which purports to be carrying out this survey on behalf of all wireless companies including Digicel.   [We] advise our valued customers that Digicel has not commissioned any joint surveys with other wireless providers.  We strongly recommend that if you are contacted about information regarding your account with Digicel; please do not divulge any information.

Should you receive this type of call please report this activity to our office at (869) 466 – 4000.”
