Grenada-Legal residents of Grenada between the ages of 16 and 29 are eligible to enter the 2018 VYBZING Music Video Challenge, a contest that encourages young people to fight the effects of climate change.
The contest was launched by the Caribbean Development Bank CDB) and seeks to gather ideas to show how climate-smart agriculture can ensure a sustainable future for the country.
VYBZING is an outreach program through which CDB engages directly with youth on regional development issues and is part of the agenda for the Annual Meeting of the Bank’s Board of Governors, which seeks to inspire participants to take action to build a better Caribbean.
Climate Action Today=Food for Tomorrow is the theme that participants should spotlight through a three-minute video for making agriculture more resilient to the impacts of climate change and improving food security across the communities of Grenada.
The Challenge will be open until May 11, 2018, in partnership with the Ministries of Education, Youth and Sports, participants will be able to find rules and regulations on www.facebook.com/CDBVYBZINF.
The best works will be granted prizes ranging from $1,250 USD to $2,000 USD and a People’s Choice Award for $250 USD.
