History and Heritage Week Activities Begin This Weekend

History and Heritage Week begins on Sunday with an ecumenical service and the official launch By the Prime Minister. This year’s theme is The Role of History and Heritage in Nation Building. Activities include an open day at the national museum on Monday, and a lecture and visits with students By Barbadian Historian Robert Morris. The activities continue into next weekend, and will include a calypso concert on Saturday. President of the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park Society Sir Pro Byn Inniss says History and Heritage Week, now in its fifth year, was designed to raise specific consciousness about St. Kitts and Nevis.
