BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — Officers from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) Nevis Division, the Special Services Unit (SSU), and the Regional Security Service (RSS), along with Soldiers from the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) conducted several operations throughout Nevis on Dec. 9.
During one operation, a .38 calibre revolver with several rounds of ammunition was found on the premises of a home in the Rawlins area. The items, along with four individuals from the residence, were taken into Police custody.
The Police, with the support of the SKNDF and, more recently, the RSS have been working day and night to remove firearms from communities around the Federation. To date, some 37 weapons have been taken into Police custody this year.
