New Managing Director of FirstCaribbean International Bank Appointed

Mar. 15 — FirstCaribbean International Bank is announcing the appointment of Mr. Daniel Farmer as the new Managing Director and Senior Coverage Officer for its Barbados Operating Company. Mr. Farmer began his career in Barbados with Citigroup and later joined the Simpson Group of Companies in 2006 as the group’s Vice President of Treasury. Most recently he has served as Managing Director of Interbolsa Caribbean Merchant Holdings, Ltd., based in Miami. Executive Chairman of FirstCaribbean, Michael Mansoor, added: “We are extremely pleased that Danny is returning home to Barbados and joining FirstCaribbean.” FirstCaribbean International Bank is the largest, regionally-listed bank in the English- and Dutch-speaking Caribbean, serving 550,000 accounts in 17 markets through 3,500 staff; 66 branches, 22 banking centres, and seven offices.
