NIA announces scholarship opportunities in Romania

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – The following is an announcement from the Ministry of Human Resources in the Nevis Island Administration regarding scholarship opportunities for studies in Romania:

The Nevis Island Administration’s Ministry of Human Resources is pleased to inform you of Romanian scholarship offers. The higher education institutions in Romania are offering a number of scholarships in the following fields:

• Offered by the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration: political science, public administration, management, communications and public relations, international relations and European studies
• Offered by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Târgu Mureș: medical field (immunology, genetics, pathology, drug analysis)
• Offered by the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest: agronomic sciences, veterinary medicine, biotechnologies, land reclamation and horticulture

Scholarships cover tuition fee, accommodation and study materials. Courses will be conducted in English unless otherwise indicated. However, airfare, health insurance and stipends will not be paid by the government of Romania.

Note that applications must be received April 30. DO NOT utilize the date provided by Romania as applications go through a few channels prior to receipt by the Romanian representatives.
