The Nevis Island Election has been won by the Concerned Citizens Movement after the results of Nevis District 2 found favour with party leader Mark Brantley following both NRP and CCM having already guaranteed two seats.
Incumbent Spencer Brand of CCM retains Nevis District 1 seat by a margin of 27 votes. His Cabinet colleague Eric Evelyn is Projected to take District 3.
NRP’s Leader Dr Janice Daniel Hodge flips Nevis District 4 by a margin of eight votes defeating Deputy Premier Alexis Jeffers of the CCM
NRP’s Deputy Leader Cleone Stapleton Simmonds win the Nevis 5 seat.
CCM wins a majority of three out of the five seats.
