One of the two men wanted by police for a series of crimes has been captured
Shandy Elliott was captured by the Police in Newton Ground on Saturday, May 16.
Elliott has been formally charged for the offenses of building break-in and larceny which were committed in April this year. He is currently in Police custody.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police thanked the members of the public who assisted the Police with this matter.
Elliott was also charged for escaping lawful Custody.
The other wanted man Joseph Anthony Charles is still at large.
Charles also known as Happy Happy or Capleton is also wanted by the police for several offences, including building break-in and larceny.
Charles is 30 years old, dark in complexion and has a black low-cut hairstyle. He is 5’9 in height and his Build is described as small.
Police are asking anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts to contact the Sandy Point Police Station at 465-6261 or the nearest police station.
