AUTOPSY RESULTS On Tuesday 4th November 2008, pathologist Dr. Jesus Debrok performed a post mortem examination on the body of 58 year old Alejandro Nisbett of Shaw’s Road, Newcastle and he reported that Nisbett died as a result of asphyxia caused by multiple traumas of wounds to the right side of his head and neck. The decease was on Thursday 30th October 2008 attacked and wounded with a machete at Shaw’s Road about 5:30 a.m. Police responded to the scene and met the deceased lying in the road with what appeared to be blood coming from various parts of his body. He appeared to be motionless and the District Medical Officer was called to the scene and Nisbette was pronounced dead. This death brings the total number in the Federation to 18 for the year 2008. Sandy Nisbett also of Shaw’s Road has since been charged with the murder of Alejandro. Tuesday Online Code for Issue # 732 is ZLE ARRESTS Rudolph Jacobs of Lower Shadwell Housing was on 5th November 2008 arrested and charged for the offence of wounding, an offence that was committed on 20th October 2008. Jamoy Warner of Saddlers Village was arrested and charged on 5th November 2008 for the offence of shooting with intent. The offence was committed on 19th October 2008. Kadin Jeffers of New Road was on 5th November 2008 for the offence of wounding with intent, an offence that was committed on 3rd October 2008. Roy Wilkerson of Shadwell Housing was arrested and charged on 5th November 2008 for the offence of wounding with intent. The offence was committed on 26th September 2008. Glenville “Babble” Elliot, Sylvester “Goofy” Kelly, Vere Harvey, Keithroy Harvey and Melvina Kelly, all of Saddlers Village along with Calvin Samuel of Belle Vue were all on 5th November 2008 arrested and charged for the offence of malicious damage. The offence was committed on 2nd November 2008. Leon Jederon and Royston Browne, both of Conaree Village, were on Thursday 30th October 2008 arrested and charge for the offence of praedial larceny. The offence was committed on 26th September 2008. Ellister Thomas of Ottleys Village was on 30th October 2008 arrested and charged for the offence of wounding, an offence that was committed on 16th October 2008. Desi Williams of Sandy Point was on 31st October 2008 arrested and charge for the offence of rape. The offence was committed on 28th October 2008. Vernel Francis of Sebastian Street was on 3rd November 2008 arrested and charged for the offence of assault with intent to rob. The offence was committed on 31st October 2008. Cecil Charles of Lower Monkey Hill was arrested and charged on 3rd November 2008 for the offence of possession of firearm. On Friday 24th October 2008 a search warrant was executed on the premises of Cecil and Akeem Charles of Lower Monkey Hill for illegal drugs, arms, ammunitions, jewelry and electronic items and a number of jewelry and a shot gun was found on the premises and taken into custody. Akeem Charles was on 28th October 2008 also arrested and charged for the offence of possession of firearm. Jevon Richards of Upper Cayon was arrested and charged on 3rd November 2008 for the offences of assault and armed with an offensive weapon. COURT CONVICTIONS Akeem Bryan of Newton Ground Village appeared before the District “B” Magistrate Court on Tuesday 4th November 2008 and was convicted for beating Javel Whittaker also of Newton Ground Village on 15th July 2008 and was ordered to pay $1,000.00 in four months or serve one month in prison. Crispin Carey of Tabernacle appeared before the said court and was convicted for a wounding he committed on 12th October 2008 and sentenced to two months in prison. Irvin Allen of Church Ground appeared before the District “C” Magistrate Court on Tuesday 4th November 2008 and was convicted for a wounding he committed and was ordered to pay $800.00 in three months or serve three months in prison. Keith Rodriguez of Craddock Road also appeared before the said court to answer a charge of possession of cannabis and was convicted and fined $1,500.00 payable in three months or he will have to serve six months in prison. Duan Grant of Clay Ghaut who was charged with the offence of driving without due care and attention was convicted and ordered to pay $1,000.00 in six months or serve six months in prison. Kamal George of Upper Market Street appeared before the District “A” Magistrate Court on 3rd November 2008 and was convicted for carrying abroad an offensive weapon on 31st May 2008 and sentenced to one month in prison. Joseph Henderson-Pinney of Lodge Village also appeared before the court and was convicted for a wounding he committed on 2nd November 2008 and was placed on a bond in the sum of $1,000.00 and was ordered to keep the peace for a two year period. If Pinney fails to comply with the court’s order, the money will be forfeited and he will be sentenced to prison for three months. INFORMATION The Police Force is now more able to deal with crime scenes processing as two police officers recently returned from Vienna, Austria, having completed a month training in crime scene investigations with special emphasis in DNA collection and crime scene management. Constable Lewis Welsh and Constable Damian Challenger, both of the Criminal Records Office (CRO), stated that the course was very practical in nature and will definitely assist them and the organization in being better able to gather evidence during investigations. The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force continue to improve and modernize its resources so as to better serve the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
