ARRESTS Kimwell Matthew of Saddlers Village was on 10th November 2008 arrested and charged for the offence of malicious damage. The offence was committed on 2nd November 2008. Curtis Elliot also of Saddlers Village was arrested and charged on 1th November 2008 for the offence of malicious damage. Leroy Elliot of St. Paul’s Village was on 6th November 2008 arrested and charged for the offence of malicious damage. The offence was committed on 2nd November 2008. Bernard Boone, Kevin Boone, Adonis Warner and Leroy Hodge all of The Alley, Sandy Point, were arrested and charged for the offence of larceny, an offence that was committed on 5th November 2008. Cecil Charles of Monkey Hill was arrested and charged on 7th November 2008 for the offence of escaping lawful custody. The offence was committed on 31st October 2008. Cleo Foster Mc Sheen of Market Street was on 7th November 2008 arrested and charge for the offence of threatening language, committed on 28th October 2008. Monday Online Code for Issue # 733 is RIW A 17 year old juvenile from Ponds Estate was arrested and charged on 7th November 2008 for the offence of neglecting to deliver post letters when he was an officer appointed to do so. Ike Dias of Boyd’s Village was arrested and charged on 7th November 2008 for the offence of building breaking. The offence was committed on 29th October 2008. Jevon Allen of Old Road Village was arrested and charged for the offence of malicious damage on 7th November 2008. The offence occurred on 4th November 2008. Bernard Weekes of Newcastle was on 7th November 2008 arrested and charged for the offence of refusing to give name when lawfully requested to do so. Michael Daniel of Rawlins Village was on 9th November 2008 arrested and charged for the offences of driving under the influence, resisting arrest, obstruction and battery on police. OPERATIONS Members of the security forces conducted routine stop and search operations in the Basseterre area on Saturday 8th November 2008 for illegal drugs, arms and ammunitions and several individuals and vehicles were stopped and searched. A quantity of cannabis was found in the surrounding area under a nearby vehicle while executing a search. The drugs were taken into custody but no one was arrested for the find. Similar operations were conducted in Nevis on Saturday 8th November 2008 and Prince Henry of St. Peters, St. Kitts was stopped and searched and a quantity of cannabis was found in his possession. The drugs along with Henry were taken into custody and he was later arrested and charged for the offences of possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply. MATTERS AT COURT A 17 year old of Fort Thomas Road appeared before the District “A” Magistrate Court on 10th November 2008 and was convicted for robbery and placed on probation for a twelve month period in the sum of $2,000.00. If he fails to comply with the court order, he will serve one month in prison. Additionally, the juvenile was ordered to pay $722.00 in compensation within three months or serve three months in prison. Urban Massive Penny of Lockhart Street also appeared before the said court and was convicted for the offences of indecent language, malicious damage and battery and was fined $1,000.00 payable in six months for using indecent language. If the fine is not paid he will serve three months in prison. In addition, Penny was ordered to pay $2,000.00 for malicious damage he committed on 1st January 2008. The fine must be paid in six months or he will serve three months in prison. He was severely cautioned for battery. Claudette Liddie of Sandy Point also appeared before the court and was convicted for the offence of false pretence and was ordered to pay $2,580.00 in compensation by year end or she will have to serve six months in prison.
