“Five more years,” said Rodney Elliott, who held a one-woman picket along Main Street, Charlestown on Tuesday morning.

She explained that she was walking along Charlestown to let people know “five more years for the Nevis Island Government.”

“I am picketing for my party, the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM),” Elliott said.

Elliott said the incumbent party led by Vance Amory deserves to have five more years at the head of the country.

“For the past 14 years they have been in power Nevis has progressed,” Elliott said. “Nevis looks like a little New York.”

People who come into the Vance Amory International Airport from abroad are often time surprised at what they see, said Elliott.

“They can’t believe the place has changed and developed the way it has. We have come a long way,” said Elliott.

She added that the CCM Government is doing a good job and she is proud, impressed and satisfied.

“I would like them to have another five years in government,” said Elliott.

Amory has yet to announce the date for Nevis elections.
