The Royal St. Kitts Hotel and Casino, formerly known as Jack Tar Village, the first major hotel and casino on the island, will be officially re-opening on December 1 this year. The hotel will be offering a wide variety of services wrapped in different packages including the all-inclusive where children under the age of 12 can stay free. On December 1 the hotel will re-open with 80 rooms but is expected to have the remaining 202 rooms phased in during the upcoming new year.

In a media release, the hotel boasted an array of amenities, including two restaurants, five bars, two pools, four tennis courts, a banquet facility and the Royal St. Kitts Casino. Also, it was made clear that the hotel will continue to depict our cultural heritage as their logo features the national flower, the royal poinciana, and it is expected to have nightly showcases of Kittitian talent and the display of Kittitian culture at the hotel’s entrance.

It was also mentioned that the Cane Club and the Lime Beach Cabana, located on the Atlantic Beach, are also scheduled to open in the near future. On November 15, the company launched a website, www.royalstkittshotels.com, to display the hotel’s amenities and packages as well as to inform the public about its happenings.
