BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — Police are investigating an incident in which two armed, masked men shot and injured an individual, then robbed two persons in St. Paul’s last night.
Police received a report of a shooting incident that occurred in St. Paul’s at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night (Oct. 23). Investigations into the matter have revealed that 44-year-old Wayne Connor of St. Paul’s was sitting on a wall near a supermarket along the Island Main Road. Two masked gunmen ran up from a nearby road and began shooting at him. The men then made their way up to Rawlins Avenue, where they robbed two individuals at gun-point.
Connor was transported to the JNF Hospital in Basseterre, where he is listed in a stable condition.
