Very sexy, feminine and shimmering, booty hugging and cleavage showing but always glam and glitzy, if you dare it then by all means wear it… the Step by Step Agency dares you to indulge in their upcoming fashion show.

Under the theme “Dare to Wear” the show will be held at the Spotlight Night club on Saturday November 19 beginning at about 9 p.m. There, about nine models will showcase designs that are from the Gemini Fashions a boutique based in Nevis, Island Hopper and African Wear based in St. Kitts.

The skilful and talented Sandra Bowry of Fashion Caraibe will also showcase her designs, which are expected to be very tempting and revealing.

Fashion Caraibe, always tasteful yet seductive, challenges the imagination of it’s audience while being very creative and unique. Her fashion name is very popular throughout St. Kitts and Nevis as well as she is known in Anguilla.

Shirma Roberts, manager of the Step by Step Model Agency revealed that she is very excited about their upcoming show.

“We have some good stuff planned for the show, like two special segments and we’ll also have a shocker at the end of the show, so it’s going to be very exciting as always,” she said.

Roberts continued: “People are supportive of fashion shows but they don’t want to see it too often and that’s why we incorporate drama into our performances, that depict everyday scenes of life.”

The segments, “Heart-break Hotel and “Cater to you” are both taken from the original songs by Whitney Houston and Destiny’s Child respectively.

“For the first song, we see cheating as a big problem in our society and our dramatization will depict this, however the outcome would be very surprising,” the 26-year-old former Classique Model said. “While the second one will depict what every man wants and like, which is to have a woman catering to their every need.”

Following the fashion and modelling will be a dance party featuring the sounds of Evolution and Sweet Sister Sensia of St. Kitts and Recklife Sounds of Nevis.

The agency aims to positively influence the lives of young people specifically young women coming up in the society.

“We intend to make regular visits to the Children’s Home and talk to kids in the Community and be role models,” she said. “We will encourage them to do something positive with their life and to stay off the streets.”

She continued: We are currently waiting on word from the Children’s Home so we can donate a cheque of $1,000 to them. We want the business places to recognize and support us so we can help support the community.”
