Recently, the TDC Group of Companies continued its investment in the development of the business sector in the Federation, when it donated a Daewoo refrigerator valued at $940.00, to the St. Kitts Electricity Department Power Station Division. The brief but significant presentation, which was made to Mrs. Alnie Queely-Amory, supervisor of the dispatcher division of the power ptation, was held at the TDC Home and Building Depot, on the Frigate Bay Road.
In handing over the Refrigerator, Mr. Glenville Jeffers, General Manager of the Home and Building Depot in St. Kitts, stated that TDC was once again pleased to give in a tangible way, to the dispatchers at the powers station. “I hope that this refrigerator goes a long way in meeting the needs of your staff,” he noted.
Mrs. Queely-Amory, in receiving the new appliance, expressed words of appreciation to the Group for its kind donation. “Not having a refrigerator for the dispatchers is extremely inconvenient as it is a 24-hour operation. Further, given the office’s location, it is difficult to obtain a cold beverage at evenings.
“Recently, I contacted several businesses seeking their assistance in donating this appliance. Mr. Nicolas Menon, TDC director, immediately responded positively to our request. This is another demonstration of TDC playing its role as a responsible corporate partner, in the development of the Federation,” she added.
Mr. Noah Mills, TDC Client Relations and Marketing Manager, expressed pleasure in donating the refrigerator to the dispatchers’ department. “I must say that the pleasure is ours and on behalf of the TDC Group of Companies, I commend you and your staff for the good job being done. Hence, we take pride in turning the refrigerator over to you,” Mills stated.
This donation is an addition to the many other ways in which the TDC Group of Companies continues to assist various government agencies, as the company plays its role in the advancement of education, sports, community, and human resource development.
