BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – The Caribbean Examinations Council® (CXC®) has been monitoring local, regional and international developments as it relates to the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), in order to ensure the organization directs its operations consistent with established national protocols in controlling the spread.

In the interests of protecting both staff and stakeholders and to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19, the Council has taken the decision to close its Eastern Zone Office in Barbados and extended the closure of its Western Zone Office in Jamaica, from Monday 30 March 2020, until further notice.

In the interim, we are taking the necessary steps to minimize disruptions to our activities during this critical time. Where possible, employees will be working remotely from their homes to maintain some of the core functions of the organizatio.
