BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — Officials from the Department of Water Services in St. Kitts are the special guests on the weekly radio and television programme “Working for You”  March 21.

Tune in to hear Manager of the Water Services Department Dennison Paul, among others, speak to a number of issues related to water, its use, misuse and conservation. The officials will speak about World Water Day, celebrated universally each year on March 22 by the United Nations. The 2018 theme for World Water Day is “Nature for Water,” which speaks to how we can reduce floods, droughts and water pollution by using the solutions we already find in nature.

Additionally, the water situation and position in St. Kitts will be discussed, since water is an essential building block of life. It is more than just essential to quench thirst or protect health; water is vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social, and human development.

Hosted by Lesroy Williams, “Working for You” offers news, views, reviews, interviews and all the happenings of the Team Unity administration, which pledged “transparency, accountability, good governance and a fair share for all citizens of the federation.”

The programme features government officials, heads of government departments, permanent secretaries and other government officials who provide timely, relevant and accurate information as it relates to the social, economic, human, political and sustainable development of St. Kitts and Nevis
